Ottawa Election 2026
Ahead of Ottawa's municipal election, I partnered with Synapcity to launch a series of zines for the election to turn the focus towards the ward councillor elections and generate some excitement for the election season. My hope with this zine series is that folks will get excited about voting and feel a little more empowered to make a decision about who they want representing them in the next city council.
Here's what you need to know:
Ottawa residents are prepping to elect a new mayor, 24 city councillors, and school trustees in the English and French public and Catholic school boards.
When:
- Special advance voting days from October 1 to October 4, 2026
- Advance Voting Day on October 16, 2026
- Voting Day on October 26, 2026
